The Big
Crab Apple - By Bob H
What a great night it will be when I drop
my plump derriere into my lazy boy, grab hold of my remote, and
turn on this year’s All Star game. It will be a thrill to watch
and listen to the announcements of all those deserving players.
It will be a bigger thrill to listen as the names are called to
realize none of them belong to the
new york yankees . I will be so happy to turn the
surround sound up and listen to the boo’s given to names like
Kevin Youkilis, Manny Ramirez, Dustin Pedroia, and Terry
Francona. Won’t it be nice to see ‘The Hallowed Grounds’ without
any pinstripes in position.

Quarantine the Plague
- By Matt H
The teams I cheer for are, in order, the
Cubs, the White Sox, and whoever is playing the Yankees.
The last one is a product of my upbringing but as time as
gone by I have had to come to my own personal reasons for hating
the Yankees. It’s
not enough anymore to just say, “That’s how I was raised.”
At some point in our lives we must come to our own
conclusions about what we were taught while growing up.
As time has gone by I’ve decided that I can eat cookies
before dinner, a day spent playing video games is not a waste,
and I DO hate the Yankees.

RedBronx08.com wants to know… What
do you think of Giambi’s Mustache?
Jason Schmidt – Brick Layer:
It’s about time he finally went through puberty
Sandra Moore – Therapist:
He should know that he wasn’t hitting well because of his
lack of a mustache, it is his lack of talent.
Lloyd Wong – Secretary:
He’s soooo much more dreamier now! I love to
picture him in nothing but his lip hair and his golden thong!

The
Times, They Are a Changing
-
By Brandon C
America
is changing. Gone
are the days when our country’s metropolises ran the economy and
culture of our nation. New
York used to be a symbol of everything that
America
was about and everything it aspired to be.
However, things now, they’re different.
Suburban sprawl has also turned into cultural and
economic sprawl.
Culture and money are as evident in small towns and suburbs as
they are in the big cities.
No longer is it true that if you can make it in
New York you can make it anywhere.
Now if you can make it, do it wherever you like.

Help Wanted: Yankees in need of Financial Advisor -
By Mike B
With any degree of success comes scrutiny
and disdain, but why exactly do sports fans hate teams with a
constant high level of performance?
Is it ok to hate these teams?
I don’t like the San Antonio Spurs because they are the
most boring basketball team to ever win a championship.
I used to have no problem with the New England Patriots
until it became apparent that they will do anything to win, as
long as they can get away with it, regardless of league
regulations.
